Helmiprene 4535 is a high-viscosity brush-grade contact adhesive based on polychloroprene (neoprene) and formulated for professional lamination and assembly applications. The high-viscosity formulation prevents dripping and sag on vertical surfaces while minimizing soak-in on porous substrates. With 58 g/L VOC content, 60-minute open time, and excellent green strength, it delivers superior bonding performance on HPL, veneers, and decorative substrates.
Compatible with HPL laminates, melamine, veneered panels, particleboard, MDF, metal, decorative plastics, foam, and fabric. Apply by brush or roller at minimum 18°C. Not recommended for copper alloys or unbacked plasticized vinyls. Requires minimum 25 psi bonding pressure.
