HELMIBOND 847 is a premium quality, fast-setting, unextended PVA adhesive engineered for high-strength solid wood bonding. With no fillers, it produces tight, invisible glue lines while its high solids content reduces sunken joints. Fully cured bonds deliver approximately 21,000 kPa (3,000 psi) shear strength, making it the ideal choice for demanding assembly and laminating operations.
Meets LEED and SCAQMD standards. Best results achieved at working temperatures of 18°C (65°F) or warmer, with optimum performance above 22°C (72°F). Coverage approximately 229 ft² per gallon at 7 wet mils. Wood moisture content should be 6–10%.
