Helmitherm 482 is a versatile, high-performance, medium-setting EVA edgebanding hot melt adhesive with reduced filler content in a Natural (beige) color. Sharing the same proven formulation as the Helmitherm 480, the 482 is designed to melt quickly, run at all speeds, and deliver excellent adhesion to a wide range of common edgebanding materials. The natural tone creates virtually invisible glue lines on wood-toned substrates.
The extended open time makes this adhesive equally effective on small manual edgebanders and large automated production lines running 4 to 24 m/min. Lower working temperatures extend glue pot life while the reduced filler content is gentler on equipment. Choose the 482 Natural for wood-grain and warm-toned edges, or the Helmitherm 480 White for light substrates.
